Everything is Bad for You is a slim volume with short entries arranged in alphabetical order. This, of course, makes it easy to put down and come back to later, assuming you put it down in the first place. David French has written a humorous, yet informative book. For example, the entry for Fireworks:
Fireworks injure 8,500 people in the United States each year. Approximately 40 percent of these are children, which means at least 60 percent should have known better.Okay, I'm not really that surprised that fireworks are dangerous. I really wasn't too surprised at most of the entries in the book, but I was highly amused.
